We started our 2006 Christmas with Jerod and Roger getting Elaine shuttled between Tulare and Oxnard.
Christmas Eve we went to a candlelight communion service at church and then had a great dinner with Jerod & Mary. On the way home we toured "Candy Cane Lane" in downtown Oxnard. At home Jeff, Peggy and Elaine opened family gifts on Christmas Eve, a Swedish tradition.
On Christmas morning we got up early and drove the hour north to celebrate with Tyson, Jennifer, Cori, Kayla and Tyson's parents Bob and Jan. After several hours there, we loaded up received and soon-to-be delivered presents and drove back to Oxnard to celebrate with Jerod, Mary, Will, Emily and Mary's sister Alison and husband Joe.Peggy returned to our home and prepared a superb ham dinner for late afternoon on Christmas Day. We were joined by Jerod's family and Mary's mother Mary.
We ended much as we started with Jeff and Roger doing a reverse shuttle to get Elaine back to Tulare.
